Like the disk’s cover, Putting On Airs is a simple, spare & beautiful reflection on life and the spaces
between people who may be physically close. Her introspective lyrics (she says “this album was
born out of a need to do some healing in my personal life") coupled with her mellifluous voice and
spare accompaniment make for interesting listening both for the sound and her reflections on the
human condition including homophobia, addiction and homelessness.
