Fantastical, ghostly, desolate soundscapes featuring voice and guitar. This is the duo of Dania Shihab and Ilyas Ahmed, who both have solo releases on this record label (Geographic North). Lots of echo and reverb, an improvisational feel. Haunting yet inviting. RIYL The Durutti Column, Grouper, This Mortal Coil, Julianna Barwick, Ian William Craig. Favorites: 1, 3, 6. No FCCs detected.

1. *(4:16)—Loops of whispered speech. Minimal, skyward-sounding guitar picking. Ghostly harmonies.
2. (4:06)—Watery guitar, soft high voice, subtle lower tones.
3. *(3:24)—Echoing acoustic guitar, soft harmonies, a wordless vocal lead, synth bass.
4. (3:02)—Tense synth loop, several tracks of free-floating voice.
5. (7:35)—Slow acoustic fingerpicking. Ominous, dissonant tones fade in and linger. Shihab sings a few words in the final two minutes.
6. *(3:56)—More watery guitar, breathy singing. The closest piece to a conventional song here, but still loose and freeform.
