One long solo guitar improvisation (acoustic), starting with very quiet harmonics doodling and building into piano-like plucking. Hypnotic and, eventually, dissonant -- the guitar is tuned using just intonation, so things sound a bit off-key throughout.

Poole is a hero to lots of out-jazz folks, including Nels Cline. He died of a stabbing in an L.A. parking lot in 2007, a murder that's never been solved.
