Featuring the kinds of rich, wonderful harmonies for which South African choirs are justly famous. Many tracks are familiar gospel standards…but somehow they sound better when they aren’t sung in English. Some a capella, some not. Every track is great, but these ones really stand out.
2. A joyful celebration w/clapping/chorus/tambourines.
4. Male voices, slow & steady w/cool call-response feel.
5. Uptempo w/elec. Guitars & a great bass singer in the back.
7. Huge choral call-response. Slow & dramatic.
8. Uptempo Afro-pop w/a happy sound.
9. Sweet version of “Old Time Religion” for choir/organ. Upbeat.
13. Great male harmonies, mid-tempo.
17. Mid-tempo w/that Ladysmith sound. Great stuff.
19. Big, stately choral sound. Ignore the drumming.
20. Lovely w/a touch of sadness. Features some great voices.
22. Joyful uptempo blend of kids, organs, drums. Cool.
