Old school 1974 soul. This is a reissue of a super rare groove, dug up and re-mastered from the original tapes by the folks at Luv 'n Haight. Classic funk instrumentation--wa-wa guitar, horns, synthesizer, spacey sound effects. The vocals are fairly straight R&B (like Sam and Dave). All tracks are cool, get down with tracks 3, 5, 7, and 8, perfect for a night of sweet, sweet love, down by the fire.
3) Groovy laser sound effects with wa-wa guitar and Jackson 5 style singing. Sax solo then more singing
5) JB's style funk with some crazy synth
7) Great drum break to start, then the vocals come in urgent
8) Spoken intro followed by deep funk with synthesizer, horns, and the drum. Add a guitar solo. Very much like early Funkadelic.
