There’s no mistaking Calvin Johnson’s bass voice- if you’ve heard him in Beat Happening, Dub Narcotic, Halo Benders, or singing with Beck once upon a time, you’ll recognize his voice instantly. Sadly just Calvin & guitar borders on self-parody.
(Note that the tracks on the CD are in a different order than that printed on the back cover, and the zookeeper order is wrong too)
1.a-capella sad song. Calvin acapella is sorta scary.
+4.yeah a duet! Acapella calvin & uncredited female
6.a-capella sounds more beat happening-ish
7.some strange cords being strummed
+9.gospel duet
10.simple song, not so annoying
