a collection of minimal house by some of the big names in the genre. all tracks except #10 have the steady house beat overlaid with glitches, clicks, and cut-up samples. my favorites are #4, #5, #11.
1 - builds slowly through bleepy layers added on top of each other.
2 - bell-like noises and random applause samples. sounds like something from a spy movie.
4 - pretty twinkly melody
5 - warm fuzzy beat with what sounds like distorted voice samples (supposedly it's billie holiday singing). funky!
6 - support local artists (sutekh's from oakland)!! funky bassline
7 - more frantic and skittery, all beats and clicks
11 - complex, moody and atmospheric
12 - ambient-like with random piano notes that hang in the air
