What else can be said… this band has become one of my favorites of ALL TIME! Call it Art-rock, Avant-Garage-pop, Indie-prog… whatever.. DEEFHOOF’s music is pure emotion, power and beauty all rolled into one package… This album is their best so far… Here is the low down… tHE bAWD oF eUPHONY

(try all songs, all great… If I had to choose though…)
1- Full throttle Hoof Groove, angular riffs, poppy vocals… awesome
2- Mid Tempo- similar feel to last track… a bit poppier.. great drum comping!
3- Slow tempo, Bass line drives the song, slow groove comes in… great sounds with
horns! Fades out into Sonic La La Land…
4-5- Another Full throttle Hoof Groove… Great guitars and breakdowns. Play
tracks 4-5 together and you will not be disappointed. Insane!
*6- This is My FAV on this record. Starts delicate, pretty & Poopy…explodes
into a manic heavy groove of Deerhoof sonic pleasure! I luv this band!
7- starts minimal bass riff and guitar with tinkering drums.. vocals come in then it
takes off into a heavy groove… Great fucking riffs in the middle.. man oh man!
8- pretty arpegiated guitars and vocals start… Slams into a hoof-hook pop chorus
9- Strummed Guitar and vocals, very pretty short lullabye
*10- This song is another standout track…great riffs, slow and unsteady groove,
stop and go… this song pulses with raw energy… picks up the pace later…
11- Dissonant chords, stop groove, Art-rock gone very prog… All instrumental
12- Electronic swelling into theme from song 3 but this time it goes ape shit
on us. Swells out into acoustic guitar and voice with light rhythem…
13- Acoustic blues with keys and la la vocals.. very cute…
