a bunch of similar-sounding upbeat and fun dance tracks, all with this weird, robotic/processed vocals. this quote from another review puts it best: "Rather like Coca-Cola, Hekan Lidbo -- who is Data 80 -- has a definite formula from which he's not too big on
veering away." but hey, no one's playing the whole album on air, so what do we care? try #2, #3, #8, #11.
1. i think you can call this new wave 80s/electro/retro/whatever.
2. cute bloopiness like water drops falling on glass.
3. sounds a bit like miami bass with weirdly cut-up samples in parts.
4. similar to #2. catchy and vocal heavy.
5. slow tentative start leads to pop song.
6. this could be a ballad if you lose the robot vocals. almost jazzy.
7. kind of dreamy and again jazzy at parts.
8. simple, minimal, kind of techno.
9. fast, hoppy, and catchy. female vocals go ba-ba-ba.
10. more robot voice and danciness.
11. atmospheric with slower beat and notes jumping all over the place.
12. cute and bloopy like #2.
