Sweet ‘n’ tasty klezmer by a top UK Klezmer group. Lovely fem. Vocals. Great variety of songs, all performed well – play it all!
1. Fast, fun dance with clarinet and percussion. Instrumental.
2. Ethereal Moroccan tune. Tango-like. Pretty.
3. Sephardic, Turkish words. Gentle, wistful.
4. Greek wedding tune. Mystical clarinet, then driving percussion w/ looping tune.
5. Measured, medieval-style Hassidic dances become fast midway through. Slavic feel.
6. Melodramatic, sad tune (read the notes!), fem. Vocals.
7. Mandolin tune followed by a fast klezmer.
8. Sad ghetto lullaby, fem. vocs, pretty, ethereal.
9. Middle eastern feel – clarinet, percussion. Song explodes after 1 min. Fem/male Sp. Vox.
10. Slow, subdued start, explodes midway, great violin.
11. Slow, pensive mandolin gets into fast tune.
12. Slow, mystical fem. vox, w. guitar.
13. Playful klezmer, great clarinet, awesome.
14. Medieval Sp. tune, tabla, fem. vox, chorus, interesting rhythm.
15. Starts w/ male group vox, speeds up then slows down.
