Slow and sad chamber jazz with a warm glow. Atmospheric stuff in an ensemble that features a melancholy piano, with the trumpet being like a beacon of hope amid darkness (something like that). The soloing has a lightly jazzy feel to it.
1- Chamber-jazz funeral march
4*- Dark and sparse, colored by trumpet
6*- Slow descending notes, free clattery drums
7- Very quiet, delicate
8- Semi-classical piece
14- w/sax, slow and warm.
15- Very slow, trumpet so delicate it sounds flute-like
