Guitar based electronica. Largely instrumental with occasional voices saying random things or samples and one track with voice. Repetitive guitar licks over fast beats and sound effects. Haskett was formerly the guitarist from Rollins Band.
)Fast paced rock electronica. Guitar in the foreground. Instrumental. Softens up at about three minutes.
)Slower paced electronica. Still guitar based. The central riff on this one seems a little off. The guitar comps and a riff comes in. A sample of someone’s vibrato repeats.
)Organ based electronica. Deep voice talks to you through many tweaked out effects. Theres a part in this at about 1:20 where things get a little cool with a bell-like sound.
)Starts with a car race type sound. Lots of guitar. Simple beat. Not very exciting. Lots of gain. Parts could be from car racing video game.
)Pretty good track. The beginning is especially nice, but it gets a little boring. Messes around with beats melting into one another, nice sounds coming over the top. Simple, slow, but not bad.
)Guitar rock turns into electronic beat and back. Reminiscent of guitar solo in Michael Jackson’s “Black or White.”
)More traditional electronica with less guitar and more beats, hollow noises, and chainsaw.
)Lots of guitar. Repetitive, lacking interest. A voice says, “I’m ready,” and then, “Terminate,” over and over through a haze of filters.
)More of the same.
)This one is slower and has actual words. This guy sounds like Zack de la Rocha, the leader from Rage Against the Machine, and rhymes a lot without great verbal dexterity.
)A lot of high pitched guitar.
)Less guitar, more interesting.
)Lots of guitar squeals. Then it goes down low again. A solid techno beat in the background.
)Rock instrumental. Not electronica. Pretty boring.
)Soft guitar song. Sort of nice for after a picnic on the drive home looking at the sunset. Very different from the rest.
