Toe-Rag Studios -- Sympathetic Sounds of London
Compilation of unreleased tracks or new releases recorded on the vintage 60s era equipment at Toe-Rag Studios in London. The recordings sound so vintage even the most snotty 60s rock aficionado might mistake these for the real 60s deal -- but they're new. Catchy rockers, rockabilly, 60s-style pop, surf -- all good!
PICS: 6, 14, 11, 9, 8, 7, 5
1. instrumental w/ 60s style keyboards -- experimental in a 60s way -- reminiscent of Joe Meek
2. relaxed rockabilly fronted by Teddy Paige
3. goofy 60s Brit pop style -- groovy + flute
4. rocker -- good guitar
5. Holly Golightly -- cabaret ballad
6. Rocker with great hand-claps! -- yardbirds-esque
7. catchy rocker about a nurse
8. classic rockabilly style
9. 60s pop with female french singer -- good
10. Same group as track 2 -- crooning lounge tune
11. Beatles-esque with female singer -- fuzzy guitar
12. dreamy psych pop
13. surfy -- good organ
14. great catchy 60s rocker - "oop-poo-pa-doo"! -- with Micky Hampshire of the Milkshakes
