Here's something worth listening to. This is basically an enhanced reissue of a classic 1980 dancehall album ("Round the World"). The difference is that five of the original source tracks for the album's grooves – songs by Black Uhuru and Dennis Brown – are now included alongside Ranking Joe's versions. Joe has a great delivery: bubbly and rapid-fire but also really smooth and lyrical. Hopefully more of his material will re-emerge on CD soon. First-rate stuff.
