The Last Show brings us grunge, they bring us garage sounds, they bring us indie rock. Composed of Justin Lizam on guitars/vocals, Maria Theodosiadon on bass and Keith Sever on drums SLE EP brings us a quartet of tracks to whip our dirty, greasy hair to while jumping up and down in our torn jeans, converse all-stars and long-sleeve plaid shirts. It's somewhat refreshing to listen to something not trying to fit a mold...just being played.
the good: well put together for all those indie fans looking for something to rock out to the bad: nothing too elaborate, musically, but I think that was done on purpose the ugly: nuthin'
potty-mouth tracks: none detected

(note: rating numbers are out of 10 and following each track description)
1.Painted Blue: garage/grunge vocals and instrumentation; a kind of Ramones meets Nirvana track (7) 2.Sleep: nice guitar intro w/ some distortion; slower than track #1; I felt like I was in the 90s all over again (9) 3.Big Jet Thrust: faster beat; no distortion on vocals (8) 4.A Lover's Gaze: more pop/mainstream sounding; off-key vocals (8)
