Dirty, grungy guitar base (Tarbox Ramblers, Black Keys), spooky distortions and noise, dark vocals, a sinister atmosphere. The primal repetitive drum-bass lines and angular guitars almost make me think that psych garage was post-punk before post-punk existed. If you had to marry the blues-based psych of... Canned Heat (?) with the angular noise of the Swell Maps, you will get something that sounds similar to this. Throw some Beat lyricism and Jimmy Hendrix influences in the mix.
