Experimental electronica with a hint of lo-fi is the easiest way for me to describe this album.
Disparate sounds coalesced to bring together something that disappears as soon as it enters your ears. I use the word “something” because music as is it categorized today is what Tse Tse is not. Horns, acoustic guitar and strings echo the abstract and melancholy sound produced by Yvonne Cornelius (aka Niobe) and give us a taste of what is going on in that head of hers. Not for the faint of heart, Tse Tse is a record that definitely has to grow on you.

the bad: it doesn't follow a set pattern, so if you like your music in some sort of structure, this is not for you
