GHOST¥ Hypnotic Underworld (drag city)
Ghost are from Japan, they have been creating tripped-out epic rock improv for years now. They are real experimentally minded within a rock framework. All songs have avant-guard elements but some are more straight rocking then others. I prefer the weirder tracks. Think CAN, mixed with PINK FLOYD circa 1970, Meddle years. Brilliant at times. Choose wisely.
ÐtHE bawd oF eUPHONy
**1- (13:27) Real spacey and free in form. Dreamlike melodies with freak-out moments. Very Loose. I luv it!
*2- (7:06) straight beat and dirty bass with improv sax and paino. Builds in intensity and later changed groove.
3- (2:51) synth drone into Fart-Rock? Vocals enter. Im riding a horse in the desert, HELP!
**4- (0:20) Ride symbol mayhem. Intense and quick, rad!
*5- (4:48) pscyadelia enters. Pretty vox. Pop? Floyd?. I think I like it?
*6- (5:00) bass and tabla, traditional plucky strings. Watery and wet.
7- (6:40) Flute melody. Cheesey movie sndtrack into fart-Rock again. AHHH
**8- (10:00) guitar intro into odd groove. Cool and coasting, gets weird and load toward end.
*9- (7:00) David Gilmore all the way. rock me
10- (6:00) keys and guitar. Um, Riverdance?
11- (6:40) trippy ballad-like thing. Epic Floyd!
