This raspy-voiced exiled singer/songwriter from Angola delivers a wonderful release backed by acoustic guitars, bass, accordion, percussion, & chorus. He also plays two trad. percussion instruments. Subtle rhythms, soulful vocals, lush instrumental touches. Contemporary semba (not samba), based in Angolan roots but w/influences of Brazil.

2. Lightly swaying & atmospheric w/good female chorus.
3. Catchy, midtempo dance w/nice use of strings/perc.
*4. Guitar/percussion driven midtempo sway w/warm vocals.
5. Slow & romantic. Good guitar/perc/vocal blend.
*6. Accordion/chours/perc. Upbeat & lively.
7. Sensual, downtempo ballad w/warm guitar/vocals.
8. Uptempo dance w/a light energy & good use of guitar/perc.
9. Fast mix of vocals/chorus/perc/strings. Catchy.
