A singer/songwriter that keeps it pretty simple with just
a voice and a guitar. Mark Kozelek produced this CD and
can be heard playing on it as well and definitely has an
influence on the sound. Her voice is a bit timid for my tastes,
but I’m sure it’ll appeal to some people. The songs are all rather
slow and soft so it’s a bit difficult to review each song, one
by one, since they all sound rather similar. If you like the
Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon, it’s worth a listen.
I would definitely recommend listening to tracks 7 and 10.
Track 2 was kinda nice too.
