If this album were food, it’d be a cheese platter. Cheesy orchestration, cheesy lyrics, cheesy album cover. Of all the great music within bhangra (a North-Indian folk “dance” genre I love dearly), why would anyone pick some of *these* samples? A wasted opportunity to compile a great genre.

Track 1: Mid-to-up tempo, interesting dhol (traditional) percussion mixed with pop element. Rambunctious male choir.

Track 2: Faux pop opening, energetic male+fem choir plus rough male vox. Uptempo.

Track 3: Mid-to-up tempo, Moderately catchy.

Track 4: Dancey, mid-to-up tempo.

Track 5: Slow-to-mid tempo, more like a ballad.

Track 6: Thumping bass imposed on traditional percussion, up-tempo and catchy.

Track 7: Slow-to-midtempo ballad, more electronic than #5.

Track 8: Goofy opening, sounds somewhat like #1.

Track 9: Cheesy pop ballad.

Track 10: Midtempo song with interesting lyrics (which will, of course, be lost on a non-punjabi audience)

Track 11: High eneregy dance track, vox have a strange studio echo.
