Speedy punk rock/hardcore with heavy 80s hardcore leanings. Vocals you can understand, fast punk guitar playing, and short songs. Think Void combined with some Southern CA 80s hardcore bands. Hell, the production even sounds 80s. They are from San Francisco. They even do a cover of an old Ian MacKaye band Screwbald/Grand Union (track #11).
**1. Feedback-n-bass intro with fun old hardcore guitar sound. This goes into speedy hardcore. Slight anthem. Short guitar solos. Fucking great!
2. The into is a complete rip off of “Lights Out” from the Angry Samoans.
**3. Slower and longer.
4. Fast right from the start. More of a raw sound.
**5. Tighter, faster guitar with more of a early 90s hardcore sound.
**6. Spoken sections done in that almost surfer dude hardcore voice.
7. Is this a DC band from 1984?
8. More punk. Instrumental.
**9. Pretty damn fast. Modern hardcore screams in the chorus. Breakdown. Lots of fucks, which is too bad cause this song is great.
10. Another fun breakdown and more fucks.
**11. Great cover of a lesser known Ian MacKaye band from the 80s. Great! Lots of fucks in the 2nd half of the song.
12. Pretty simple and fast. Solo.
13. Short sloppy punk.
Great!!! -mph
