Trip hop/hip hop supergroup of sorts. Creative beats and willingness to break boundaries make this a very enjoyable listen. The beats are jazzy at times, dancey and catchy at others, and many tracks include excellent guest MC’s(nonGENETIC, Beans). I’ve been reviewing so much in this genre, that at first listen I was quick to dismiss it, but it has really grown on me. I hope you will like it too. Tracks 4&5 are really one long song and is my favorite. It made me sit up and pay attention to the whole record.

((1)) **FCC’s** Simple productions with nice straight style vocals from nonGENETIC.(( 2)) Almost a continuation of track 1, but slight differences in production style. 3) Jazzy feel with rumblings of noises, abstract, no beat. 4) nice groove, made with synthetic beats and augmented by vocal snipits. (((5))) Continuation from track 4, breaks into a cool African or Caribbean sounding song by Mayaa Ata and Sach. MC joins them in the song as well. Some R&B style are also in there and sound good (!). 6) slow head nodding beat with distorted vocals. 7) Jaw Modulations, simple plodding pretty production with the vocal delivery of Beans. ((8)) Science rap? Lots of fun science lyrics. Very nice production, simple and fun, with a straight almost spoken vocal style. Kind-of quiet, though. 9) Smoothish R&B sound, distorted and messed with just enough to make it interesting. Cool. ((10)) the last track is fairly different from the rest of the CD, and it’s great. Gentle waves of crackles and creaks with an accordion and horn.
