The Yoshida brothers, apparently quite popular in Japan, combine the traditional Japanese tsugaru-shamisen (3-foot long, 3-stringed instrument played with a pick) with Western instruments to create a collection of soothing, new-agey songs. This is their second album. --Chuan-Mei
