Prog fusion with a sci-fi funky touch, this time in a live setting. The CD actually reprises several of the tracks from the "Tunnels" disk, but whatever -- it's still nice stuff. Lots of synth chords and swirlings anchored by Percy Jones' fast, gutteral bass lines. Cool special guests -- Mark Feldman (violin, tracks 7, 8); John Goodsall (Jones' cohort in prog band Brand X) on guitar, track 7.
Mostly fast tempos and high energy.
- Fast jumble, lots of phases. Long intro.
- Relatively slow; lots of spiraling chords.
- Evil-toned chugging. Starts quiet, builds energy and speed
- Bass showcase! Sparse and fast, with Percy showing off.
- Funky in a steely way. Guitar shredding later on.
- Sneaky bass crackle; overall subtle feel but fast pace
- Soaring fusion sound. With John Goodsall (ex-Brand X) on guitar
- Percussive and light, with chiming vibes. Spacey planetarium intro.
- Fast driving clip interrupted by slow, spacey interludes
- Bouncing, jangly. Quiet but fast drum solo.
