This is Windsor for Derby’s 5th full-length album. The tracks are generally fall along the lines of spacey, moody, and tense “ambient pop.” There are a few that don’t quite fit the label and make the album sound somewhat schizophrenic. –Chuan-Mei
*1. methodical, 2-min long intro slowly builds up into vocal segment, synth beat energizes it; mid-slow tempo speeds up to mid-fast tempo (8:10)
2. fast atonal bleeps, rumbling beat layered over the din of cocktail party conversation; mid-fast tempo (2:34)
3. driving, repetitive guitar makes the song tense and sparse, ends with anxious vocal repetitions of “I’m trying to find a way to tell you…”; mid-slow tempo(5:49)
4. tense, repeating chords and sparse but insistent drumbeats; slow tempo (6:17)
5. pensive organ, driving electronic beats, male and female vox; slow tempo (5:11)
*6. spacey-sounding with distortions, mid tempo (2:22)
*7. warm acoustic guitar, violin adds some tension; slow tempo (4:40)
8. driving, repetitive guitar and drumming, spacey vox; slow tempo (6:31)
9. heavy distortion, distant vocals; mid tempo (4:21)
10. tense beginning with heavy distortion mellows out to pensive piano (3:52)
