First album in ten year from Bay Area sadcore band. Mark Eitzel’s band before and (now) after solo stuff. Much of the sound relies on his plaintive vocals and interesting arrangements. Mostly on the softer side of things. From the sound of it, all of this could be Mark Eitzel solo stuff. Like much of Mark Eitzel’s stuff, this is to an extent hit or miss, though it is more consistent overall than.
