Acoustic Afro-Peruvian music. Libertad (from Peru, now living in Mexico) has a warm, sexy, versatile voice, that also conveys a great deal of emotion. For the most part, the tracks are rhythmically catchy and have a nice sophisticated quality. Great work from the band, especially when they get jazzy.
*1. Upbeat and swinging w/nice blend of voices/perc.
*2. Warm, bright & sweet. Midtempo.
3. Slow, sultry, romantic. Very nice.
4. Gentle & soft w/nice blend of piano/vox/accordion.
5. Slow & spare. Soaring vox/gentle piano. Sad, fragile.
*6. Relaxed vocal duet w/a sense of sadness.
*7. Sexy midtempo sway turns into a sexy mid/uptempo sway.
8. Slow w/quiet guitar/piano backing emotional vox. Sad.
*9. Upbeat w/some nice percussion/piano.
10. Downtempo, wistful & romantic.
11. Lots of percussion. Mid/uptempo w/nice energy.
12. Slow w/rich, warm vocals & subtle work from band.
*13. Uptempo w/nicely shrill chorus. Lively.
14. Lyrical ballad. Nicely done by all.
