Some background: Fabric is the biggest d’n’b club in London (so the world), where instead of sticking the d’n’b guys in the back room with a shitty soundsystem, they give them the main room every Friday and let them blow the place to smithereens. Personal note: I actually saw Andy C at Fabric in mid-2004. The moment he took over the decks, it was as though someone rang the local skinhead hotline (precipitating my departure). Needless to say he plays pretty hard. But there’s a reason why he’s one of the biggest resident DJs at the biggest d’n’b club in the WORLD. Give it a listen.
