WORLD OF ECHO GENERAL
ARTHUR RUSSELL Audika Records 2005
" the most vivid rhythmic reality" with minimal male vocal/wail
with slight echo, hand percussion and cello. Out of print and first time
on CD. Recorded 1985-86 all tracks have nice minimal sound,
ectoplasmic singing. Dub space. Background in Indian Classical Music,
In the 70's with the Kitchen, and founded hip-hop/dance label Sleeping Bag,
Collaborations with Allen Ginsburg & Phillip Glass,
produced one shot disco hits.
