Local singer songwriter that drinks from classic twangy wells of Towns Van Zandt, Nilsson, but with a vein of pop to make this very accessible. Superbly recorded and produced. Lost in the sea of college radio, this is what the scene that orbits SF’s Make Out Room aspires to be. The Holy Grail of lost singer songwriter, classic tones.
1) simple pop, lush guitars and classic melodic rootsy delivery
2) acoustic guitar, nice dense melody and lush composition
3) upbeat, harmonica
4) no drums, just nice dobro and pump organ and guitar, vocal melodies
5) pretty pedal steel guitar intro, then classic upbeattwangy pop
6) little bit of a Tindersticks stripped down tone, vocal delivery
7) waltzy epic melodic
8) upbeat pop feel
9) upbeat pop with a pretty Hammond
10) slower more mindful twangy classic ballady, waltzy but takes a few minutes to become blatantly so
