Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend

Quite pleasant, hypnotic drones and space music. Too cool and experimental to be “new-age” but I could certainly see myself getting a massage to this or hearing this on Music From the Hearts of Space back in 1985. Nothing too harsh here but definitely interesting trippy and cool. For fans of later works by Eno, Hassell, Harold Budd and taking acid at planetariums.
1) an elegant string-like mildly melodic hollow space drone, relatively brief
2) looping hypnotic electronic, Moog tones, sci fi
3) spacey tones with swirling airyness, bursts of white noise
4) pleasant drones with near noisey undercurrents, really cool
5) trippy, less dense
6) pretty “computer music” in an “old school 1982” sense, complex noisier tones appear later
7) creepy sci fi, spooky feel
8) more sci fi deep space sounds, some semi industrial crunching
9) slow to build, synth tones swirl amidst trippy drone
10) some organic field recordings, birds, very subtle, amidst a narcotic space drone
11) swirling synth tones, blippy almost, over held note
12) near vocal-like treatments, synth tones
13) more space trippiness
