Sounds when a Casio keyboard is transported out into the provinces.( Central Asia, the Caucasus, Siberia, Rumanian Ukraine border region). Electronically enhanced Drimba (mouth harp),domra ( short necked lute), gajda ( sort of bagpipe) & an accordion. Single handedly recorded by German Popov. Most have a few second low fade at the ends. All are worth a listen.
****1: 4:00 cool railroad sounding percussion, cool bagpipe, a Carpathian Circle Dance. Title is from a Kraftwerk tune. RR sounds.
***2: 3: 34 cool bagpipe, scratching at end. 5 sec. low fade at end.
3: 3: 45. distorted voice, a criminal's song from the Caucasus
****4: 4:02 inspired by a folk tune from Jakutia, breathy vocal chant sounds, cool sound
***5: 2:36 accordion solo Macedonian melody.
****6: 3: 30 cool cool FAST percussion and flute?
7: 2:31 fast perc. accordion solo, horn? Moldovian folk song
8: 5 : 38 slow intro. distorted voice, slow chill out. CUTS out abruptly at end.
9: 3: 04 hammered dulcimer?
****10: 2:08 fast flute/whistle? Cool melody, different ending.
11: 1: 21 accordion solo, Serbian melody.
***12: 1:18 FAST FAST mouth harp
***13: 3: 32 neat big brassy sound a few times
***14: 3: 24 slow very cool dirge.
