Cyness – Loony Planet/Industreality (Sound Pollution)
Great political grindcore from Berlin, Germany. Fast, raw, noise-y, old-school sounding grindcore. This reminds me a lot of middle-era Napalm Death. Barked vocals often in German. The drums and bass are tight and complicated while the guitar and vocals are noisy and sloppy (in a good way), so while the sound is raw and heavy there are still lots of tight quick changes in each short (22 tracks in 22 minutes) track. Tracks 14-22 are older, recorded back in 2001.
Most of the tracks sound the same; short, fast, lots of changes, and brutal. Here are my favorites; (1), (2), (3), 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, (13) (anti-Bush), 18, (19)
