Green Milk From the Planet Orange – City Calls Revolution
Fuck yeah! Awesome Japanese psych/freakout dude! Obvious comparisons are the spaced-out spasms of the Acid Mothers Temple combined with the hippy drones of recent Boredoms, but all that takes a back seat to some serious heavy metal riffage much like the recent High on Fire disc. Play this NOW!
***1. Long, spacey intro blasts off into beautiful rifftastic bombast.
**2. Cool driving repetition w/ vocals
****3. Heavy riff-based explosion followed by freak out. Holy shit this is good.
**4. Epic track. Slow trippy intro followed by some Hendrixian soloing building to a false ending around 5 min left. More trippiness finishes you off.
