Percussion duets including L.A. stalwart (and Vinny Golia/Nels Cline pal) Brad Dutz. Frequently carries an airy, mysterious feel, even on some of the faster tracks. Nice for atmosphere, a quasi-World feel, or for a different sound inside a longer set.

Many of the pieces are composed rather than improvised, so you'll find some punchy jazz melodies on marimba or vibraphone (e.g. 7,14). Don't worry; it's not all drums (although you'll want to hear the textured drum solo on #9).

- Lots of gongs. Slow, spacey
- Brisk tribal-drum piece
- Lots of clutter/clatter. Slow start.
- Strange marimba, then sparse solo
- Cool fast clatter, then midtempo drums
- Calm, sparkling. Fast hi notes at start
- Fast marimba lines, also steel drums
- Shuffly bongos. Small.
- Deft, light drums, tribute to Elvin Jones
- Chaotic vibraphone jazz. Slowish.
- Lots of phases. Some fast, showy clatter
- Mysterious
- Some cool fast beats
- Mid/fast brisk beat, marimba lead
- Catchy hand drums, a very "world music" feel
- More gongs!
