) Weird, scatterbrained & poppy indie rock meets heavy rock/metal + some screamo thrown in as well. Interesting concept that works as much as it fails. Possible references: recent Cave In, Lifter Puller, Faith No More, Shellac & Weird Al. (Seriously, Weird Al just listen to the vocals)
(((1))) Metal-core & strange melodic pop parts that usually work well. (FCC “shit”, “fucking” each sung twice)
(((2))) Catchy & silly spoken parts with odd break downs. (FCC “asshole” sung once)
((3)) Weird Al fronting a halfway decent emo-pop/emo-core band?!?
(((4))) Big on the low end & scrambled in almost every way – riffs, tempos, vocals, lyrics. Annoying chorus that drags on & on.
((((5)))) Pretty nice, driving screamo with pop over tones. A screamo & skitzo version of Dillinger Escape Plan.
((6)) More D.E.P.-like short attention span tempos with pretty nice poppy vocals.
(7) Oh fuck it’s Weezer!
(((8))) Screamy, crazy changes. Too ADD though. They start a nice soudning scale and then quit after 3 notes. WTF?
((9)) Standard modern MTV metal riffing but overall more wacko “loud pop”than anything really heavy.Again the good parts don’t last long enough.
((10)) Mixed up, slick “post-hardcore” screamo. Straight-forward for about a minute then it needs a Ritalin.
(11) Ugh! “Nu-me-mo” = nu metal ballad + emo & added to a fowl stew of Red Hot Chill Peppers.
(12) Repeating all of the same moves they did on songs 1-6 but with a female vocal part
