Low-fi anti-music that would sound great 12 years ago (along with bands like Space Needle, Neutral Milk Hotel, etc) but now just sounds dated and tiresome, sophomoric. Okay, that said, its worthy in this overproduced era of crappy sensitive indie rock, harkening back to a more organic day when Guided By Voices ruled the earth (maybe “low-fi” needs a “post” comeback?). Cool use of living room sounds, drum machines, found sounds, spontaneous noise factors, I like it for that alone, the improv spontaneous underproduced noise element.
