Wow, smokin’ bizarre prog a la Zappa, but performed live (mostly) in a café/singer songwriter type fashion, sounds like a guitar/bass duo. The subject matter almost qualifies this as pure comedy as its sharp and witty, brilliant and hilarious. Think Zappa crossed with Weird Al and Mr Bungle with Weather Report as their band. A part of bizzaro act E is for Elephant (get it?) I have it on good authority that this guy is a genuine freak. However he has certainly justified the existence of the usually sickening prog-wanky Chapman Stick. Brilliant, proving that all the agricultural waste residue in the Fresno water supply is finally catching up.
All Radio Clean
1) an ode to beer, sung to the melody of Star Spangled Banner, bar singalong, brilliant
2) cheesy love ballad that addresses the urban legend about waking up after a bender missing a kidney, some cool noisey bass and wanky fuzzy guitar, a big spoof of epic 70’s-80’s ballads
3) total prog explosion about some Mexican restaurant in Fresno and an insurance scam
4) studio manipulated piece, slower and trippy, “he’s a crazy psycho fella”, shift midway to a comical “you got to jump up and kill your friend”: this song ends with ~2minutes left, which is an incredible intro to the next song, a whole bit about “yngei fucking malmstien”
5) GREAT: the ultimate spoof of yngie malmstien’ish “classically trained” metal guitar wankery, absolutely brilliant
6) Silly electro pop love/stalking song
7) intro to next song, sideways shot at LA
8) hilarious tribal beat (“we’ve robbed everything else from the Indians so I stole this drumbeat too”), chapman stick mastery, but a serious/hilarious commentary on animal abandonment/abuse

10) about being in China “sidewalk dentistry”, urban legend series, very chill King Crimson stick feel, brilliant

12) TV theme song feel about “stoner detectives”, makes fun of stoners
