Sugary guitar-and-synth-pop. Light, peppy tunes bounce along with all the standard blips and beats of the genre. Folksy finger-picked guitar and lazy, at times whiny vox featured in most every song. Very well done, but no new ground broken artistically. A pleasant listen. See also Jai Agnish or Joy Electric. FCC Clean
Picks: 4, 5, 9
1. 3:44 Upbeat, catchy melody.
2. 3:15 Hushed vocals, nice bright acoustic guitar. 7-sec silence at end.
3. 2:57 Upbeat, a touch of a samba feel towards the end. 13-sec outro.
*4. 3:15 Bending, bubbly bloops under a lazy mid/low energy melody. Guitar fades in and out a conscious blend with the effects.
*5. 3:39 Slightly quirky guitar-and-effects instrumental. Lots of subtle changes lend a sense of movement throughout. Great sound.
6. 1:45 More of a rock feel than synth-pop. Cold start. 7-sec outro.
7. 3:43 Slow vibe intro into softly swaying, reverb-laden pop. Exactly the kind of song that synth strings swell up into on the last refrain. 15-sec outro.
8. 3:45 Downtempo guitar song against dancy rhythm effects.
*9. 4:33 Great proggy/quirky intro, 6/8 percussion-focused song. Nice refrain.
10. 2:45 Lulling, sliding waltz 30-sec outro.
11. 3:07 Head-bobbing, catchy melodic pop. Brian Wilson?
