Wed Night Live recording of one man band from Fresno who is a bizarre genius. He plays a Chapman Stick and a rack of sewn together sound sources that can only be seen to be believed (or heard!). For example an audible applause switch he throws every time he says the word “Fresno”. This guy is a master at looping his own tones and vocals, at times creating 3, 4, 5, 6 part harmonies and layers upon layers of dense musicality. Like Weird Al meets King Crimson meets Frank Zappa. Pure genius. And once again, hats off to Smurf’s unrivaled live sound production and Chief’s MC’ing.
