Cuban rock/funk/party music. Young energy, lots of Latin heat, but this it NOT Ricky Ricardo music. It’s the fresh sound of today’s Cuba – influenced by the music of the past but very much part of the 21st century. Mostly up/midtempo & dancey, but a few romantic interludes as well. Great summer time party music. Deliciously hip and all worth a play, especially:
1. Mid/uptempo Cuban funk w/energetic vocals. A hot jam.
2. Relaxed midtempo w/fun vocals & a catchy sound. Picks up.
4. Uptempo dance w/good vocals and percussion. A bit funky.
6. Slow guitar into into cool midtempo rock track w/hint of jazz.
7. Horns & fast vocals in a dishy Rock en Espanol w/some funk.
9. Lazily sexy midtempo w/lots of interesting vocals.
10. Fast vocals, good guitars, a somewhat hyper rock track.
12. Dishy retro bossa hints – a smooth midtempo shimmy. Yum.
14. Solo jazz piano intro – at 1:36 perc/vox. Midtempo w/strings, picks up speed & energy. Very jazzy.
