Blackened/heavy metal from the Norwegian veterans. Their most stripped down album to date. Focused on very basic riffs and structures. Very doom influenced. Takes a few spins to get really into but it’s well worth your time.
((((1)))) (FCC “FUCK YOU” sung once in first verse) Catchy, Metallica-like riffing with some nice big doom breakdowns. Kinda political lyrics, too.
((((2)))) Poppy, blackened metal? Tons of hooks in the verses, riffs & chorus but still heavier practically anything else in the top of the Loud charts.
((((3)))) Nice descending chords mixed the loud reverbating one. Focused on the vocals,
(((4))) Weird bouncy, slightly gothic feeling, slicling riffs.
((((((5))))) Awesome mix of black/thrash/doom Complete with very 80’s mellow intro. GREAT drumming/battering battery by Frost.
(((((6))))) Totally rockin’ like a Norse blackmetal Ministry. Helvete ja!/Hell yeah!
((((7)))) Straight ahead darkened, heavy metal like ‘Priest gone grim & cold.
((((8)))) Slow trippy, epic, doom with an awesome, rudimentary main riff.
((((((((((9)))))))))) Blast beats in your fuckin’ ears! Full scale black thrash attaaaaaacccckkkkkk!!!
