Wild, electronic manipulations, experimentations and downright weirdness . Uses everything from old synths, to bowed guitar to salad bowls. Sometimes bordering on Morton Sobotinik or Perry-Kingsley othertimes on the “softer” (?) side of Throbbing Gristle or NON.
(((1))) Lots of electronic hissing and repetition up the wazoo. Gets more interesting eventually.
(((((2)))) Very nice and sorta horror movie-like. Slow and creeping pings and swaths of ambience.
(((((3))))) Recorded in ’73 as it has that stoned out long-hair with an Arp synth rehearsal session feeling.
((((4)))) Icy, chiming, high-pitch drone. Tea’s done!
(((5))) Sound & reverberations of bells. Very short.
(((6))) Bubbly, an annoying car-horn loop, nice saxophone patterns.
((((7)))) Ambient sound and random birds.
(((8))) Water, frogs, crickets and some random hollow percussion.
(((((9))))) Cascading, trippy Phillip Glass-like ambience.
((10)) Ding-ding-clong-clink, clonk…
(((11))) Laser sounds sounding like a drunken R2-D2 and a guitar chord or 2 repeated over & over.
((((12))) High pitched tone like some trad. Asian music played on a nice, simple scale. Though almost bordering on New Age…I said almost!
((13)) Clickedy and clunky.
(((14)))) Very mixed up, lots of random electronic rythmns chopped up and reassembled. Like he’s sampling and looping himself. Very cool!
