Great quality un-official (bootleg) issue of the early 80’s Ohio hardcore band. Sound is really good even when it get into the early 7”. This includes the “Conquest for Death” LP (1983) along with all their early 7”s. Not too far from Black Flag or the Circle Jerks in some ways but also bringing something of their own.
Killer, hardcore ALL the way.
NOTE FCCs ON:
TRACK 2 (“Bullshit” sung once), 9, 17, 18, 19, 21, 23 and 36.
RECOMMENDED TRACKS
#3 – Classic US hardcore sound with catchy breakdown.
#5 – Typical but awesome “I don’t care” song.
#7 – Metal/punk crossover about 3-4 years before it existed!
#10 – Sludgey with catchy vocal parts.
#11 – Descendents/Adolescents on meth.
#14 – Snarlin’ anti-cop number goes great with Black Flag’s “Police Story”
#16 – Rippin’ guitar sound. Noisy, early bootleg from their early days.
#17 – Raw and ULTRA kick ass HARDCORE!
#20 – Kill from the heart – “no hope…no beer” boredom & hatred making great HC
#24 – Short, fast and LOUD! Hell yeah!
#25 – Solid guitar attack. Anti-racist lyrics but sarcastic.
#26 – Driving & bouncy.
#27 – Incredible riff and vocal attack.
#32 – Fucked up kids, Germs-y angry, alienated hardcore/punk.
#33 – Anti-school conformity, amazing riff.
