Album Review

Awesome, big, “heavy as a whale” metal from France. Loaded with a seemingly endless array of enticing riffs that make every song have at least something to offer. The answer to the question: Can get a few dozen riffs that knock me on my ass? Mixes current-age extremity with bits of death metal as if influenced by Jacques Costeau!

((((1))))) Continual cycle of pinch harmonics and really nice soaring vocals and verrry heavy riffs. This is how to make repetition work-lesser bands take note!
((((((2)))))) Unholy crap! Is it possible to make a song TWICE as heavy (and lots faster) as the last? Seriously & severely they fucking bring it-listen now!
(((((3))))) Catchy as hell riff with lots of simple yet sorta complex changes. Headbangly awesome!
((((4)))) Mellow guitar interlude with whale songs? Hey it works.
(((((5)))) Metal-iciouslly good for you riff with lots of harmonics and canyon-wide vocal sound.
(((((((6)))))) Un-fuckin’ believeable. Absurdly heavy and huge. Instant classic that merges Morbid Angel, Messhuggah and Voi Vod.
((((((7)))))) After a mellow intro it’s riff-vallhalla! Chug-chug-chug-chuga-jud-jud in the BEST way possible. “Now I can see the whales...”
(((((8)))))) Thrash and death metal go to shop class and get totally owned by the new riff-heshers.
(((((9))))) Slow and sorta psych twangy, jagged ‘ala later Voi Vod.
((((((10))))) More tripped sci-fi/psych rock.
(((((11))))) Repetitive, occasionally fast and loaded with soooo much bombast.
((((((12)))))) Beautiful, epic, insane amounts of hammer-on/pull-off, charging riffs, and more sci-fi dystopian and utopian concepts.
