Straight ahead hungry battling raps. Roc C and cohorts are the strong point of this release. The beats are varied, and very polished, but nothing distinctly earth-shattering or memorable. PLAY THE RADIO VERSION. EVERY UNEDITED SONG HAS THE FUCKS AND THE SHITS. Picks 1,5,10,4,15.
**1-(1:52) Jazz bass, funk horns. Sped up bollywood sample? nice. Victorious sound.
2-(3:44) Synth keys, laid back beat, attacking rhymes.
*3-(3:17) Synth heavy NY "victorious/epic beat" characteristic of past couple years. Street/come-up/grindin rhymes.
*4-(2:35) March/shuffle beat that appeared on Oh No's release. This version is better. ft. Oh No & Pok Dog
**5-(4:05) Aggressive raps, low, tense, threatening beat mostly a drone with occasional bass ft. Glasses Malone who's like Xzibit-lite.
6-(3:36) Sped up old funk break. Fast doubletime, southern style rapping. I suspect weed may have played a part in this.
7-(3:41) Hodge-podge beat... Aggressive battle raps ft. Chino XL
8-(4:39) Slow, jay dee style bass, kick, snare. Roc C describes how he seduces the women ft. Aloe Blacc, Oh No, & brief appearance by Bizzy Bone!!!
