America’s Funnyman Glen Benton tells some great jokes. Oh wrong review: Total fuckin’ Christ bashing death metal. These guys are pretty much a one trick pony but sometimes their trick works pretty well. The guitar duo of the Hoffman brothers are gone and replaced by Jack Owen (Cannibal Corpse) and Ralph Santollla (Iced Earth, Sebastian Bach!?). These two lay down some nice riffs and solos. Nothing too spectacular (especially the vox) but for fast as shit death metal this’ll do.
((((1)))) Blasting and guttural vox with some cool fast, fast and getting fast tempo changes.
((((2)))) Charging & diabolic DM with some early 90’s styled soloing.
((((3)))) Slower but steady & rhythmic with mutli-tracked hellbeasts on vocals.
((((4))) Simple but really good riffs and insane multi-tracked vocal chorus getting as close to “melodic brutalness” as it can.
(((5))) Other than the tight lead work-it’s more of the same “satan sandwich” he made on #1, #3 and #4.
(((6))) Slayer’s “Angel of Death” flying straight into satan’s armpit at warp speed.
((((7)))) Blasting, bestial & noodly DM with some cool breakdowns.
((8)) *Meh* this blast-blast-grunt-bark-growl thing has been done a squidillion times already.
(((9))) Slow & mostly in the “80’s metal meets 90’s death metal in satan’s bowling alley” thing.
((10)) WTF?!? Deep Purple cover with blast beats , dive bombers, grunting vocals. Oh my John Lord!
