Xperi/classical music making heavy use of electronics. 1 and 4 are just electronic. 2 and 5 marry Debussy/Takemitsu-like arrangements for solo instruments to elecs. 3 and 6 are purely acoustic.
Picks 4,3. All worth listening to.
*1-(9:02) Shimmering "ambient" electronics, but dark and tension filled. Lots of dissonant shimmering clusters, and piercing tones. Builds and releases. Cinematic. Ends quiet. Standard but well done.
*2-(10:55) Electronics. Flutes. An electronic horn chorale at -9:10. At times there is an orchestral feel to this track. Ends with anither horn chorale.
**3-(13:50) Classical solo piano. There are 6 movements and you can safely start/cut out at -9:04,-3:56. Start to -8:17 is very deliberate, with lots of rest. A darker, current take on Satie. -3:56 to the end is very full, fast, and rumbly.
***4-(10:12) Glitches, experimenting with unusual electronic noises. Hard to describe, but it moves fast. A fun trip. At -2:00 turns to more standard wash tones. Ends on full steam with a quick fade.
*5-(8:15) Classical acoustic guitar and electronics. The elec. tones are prominent. Fairly drawn out an plodding. Long elec. tones, long resonating chords for guitar. Ends with a buzzing elec. tone.
*6-(9:31) String section. Piano and harp (can't hear much harp). Barber's Adagio for Strings fullness and soupiness. -6:20 piano enters. -2:27 is a break point. Intensity builds to end. Please cut Barber a check here.
