32 short solo acoustic guitar compositions by Alvarius B (of Sun City Girls). Experimental, lo-fi, wandering. Ranges from appalachian folk, drone, raga, noodles, to unconventional plucking+strumming. Tempted to compare to the usual suspects Newman, Basho-Jughans, & Rose, but unlike the above, technique is not really present, but is made up for by intimacy and refreshingly naive and earnest musicality. Times range from 0:48 to 2:19. A reissue of recordings made from 1981-1989. Picks ***14,24 **4,5,10,11,13,16,23,27 *2,9,12,15,30. Really, all good. Just drop the needle. FCC clean. Moo-cows on the beach!!
